Mystery...

"What is the location of the rebel base?" -Tarkin

Actually, a large number of Science Fiction books have mystery plots- probably right after adventures and wars in terms of numbers. Whether these meet the criteria of the refined mystery reader or not is debatable, but you can check out the specific reviews for more information.
